Recommended Site: Girls Can't WHAT?
This site has been a labor of love for my friend Gretchen (aka drummergirl). She has compiled information from a huge number of resources on women who currently, and throughout history have had an impact on the world.
I feel so lucky to have met Gretchen through the Joomla.org forums because her website opened my eyes a bit wider to the important women from all over the world, and all walks of life, that have inspired girls and women everywhere to reach for their dreams. What could be more inspirational than seeing the difference women have made in culture, science, arts, humanities, sports -actually in pretty much every single facet of human existence. The growing community includes a forum, blog, and an inspirational section that contains the information on women who have made their mark on the world and a difference in our lives.
I do have to mention that I really enjoy reading Gretchen's blog. She has an amazing mind, and a wonderful way of bringing life and understanding in her writing. I don't know quite how to explain it, but I do thoroughly enjoy it.
Gretchen is also the artist behind the "GIRLS" characters for her merchandise, I recommend checking out her shop, I am especially partial to the Gamer Girl and the Drummer Girl.
